Christmas Prayer

He gave his life for you and me,
now all our sins are cast away.
He came to Earth to lead the
way, so on this snowy white
Christmas day, to him this prayer
I humbly say:
“While the merry souls slumber,
the glittery stars glow, and all the
shadows of the land reflect in the snow.

I think of Christ with all my thoughts,
for he ordained it from the start. A
time of year with sharing heart, a time
of year to share a laugh.

Christ is here, let your soul sing,
embrace the Joy, for all the Joy
of the earth was created by him.

On this loving Christmas Day,
because of Christ, this song I
sing, and with a heart of thanks,
I offer praises unto him.

On this happy morning starts
a brand new day, a gift from
God one may say. But what is
Christmas really about?
Could you answer without
a doubt? Mistletoe above

the snow, red bows, and
jingle bells, colored ribbons
and balloons. But what about
Jesus?

A king who came and
took on our sins, a king
who was mocked and
crowned with thorns,
a king who was born
in a stable, a king
crucified for sins that
were not his, a king
who sees and knows
all that we do
and loves us still.

Christmas is about
the sharing of gifts in
remembering the
greatest gift ever given.

For what do we owe unto
him for such a priceless gift?”
